All Star Week Wrap Up

All Star Week Wrap Up

What a crazy week of races we had as the Drivers and Races lived up to the billing! Almost every race was action packed, back and forth battles, and aggressive passes being made! I’m just here to give everyone a quick recap of the results and to give a summary of how teams did this week, as well as the results of our “attempts” at doing predictions.

We were able to get all 3 of our predictions out for the Shootout Races, and well it was an “attempt”. Al Andretti and Rhett Sawyer both missed all their picks, while Javier Vasquez was able to correctly predicted Zac Holldorf winning the Xfinity Shootout and Emilia Rose was his Dark horse in the SLM Shootout. Hopefully our predictions can pick up as we continue this for next season.

We were so close to having a winner from different teams in every race until Cold Tires got the best of Lizzy McGwire leaving the last pit stop in the GT3 race, as she looked clearly the fastest driver on the track today. Justin Chris for NLR capitalized to take the win. Emilia Rose was the only Shootout Winner to also Win the All Star race, representing The Brew Crew in SLM. Delany Nash sends EP!C off with a win in the Nascar race. Nana Lahey took a bit of the back seat in the middle of the Trucks race, but they took over the final Stage with no real challenger. Doug Britton for NLR won all the money possible in the Xfinity race and 5 of the 6 Stages.

Team Stage Wins – (this includes Shootout Winners and every Stage in the All Star Races)
1 – NLR – 13
2 – Apex – 6
3 – The Brew Crew – 5
4 – Can-Am – 3
5 – EP!C – 2
6 – Desperado – 1
6 – Low Fuel – 1

Total Money Earned
1 – NLR – $330,000
2 – The Brew Crew – $170,000
3 – Apex – $120,000
3 – EP!C – $120,000
5 – Can-Am – $35,000
6 – Desperado – $30,000
7 – Low Fuel – $0 (Won 1 stage but it was a stage with no earnings)

Now it’s time to focus on the Off Season as Teams, Drivers, Series, and the League as a whole will be going through changes. I personally can’t wait to see everyone back for Season 6!
